About the English Australia Conference

We invite you to participate in the English Australia Annual Conference 2023, to be held at Sofitel Sydney Wentworth, on Wednesday 30th August – Friday 1st September 2023. The Sofitel Wentworth is located at 61-101 Phillip Street, Sydney.

As always the conference will provide professional development opportunities and up to date information to enable you to learn from peers from around Australia, as well as government stakeholders, regulatory bodies and suppliers of products and services to the English Language sector.

Who attends?

The English Australia Annual Conference attracts a diverse range of staff from across the English language intensive courses to overseas students (ELICOS) sector each year, including teachers, teacher trainers, administrators, student support staff, marketers, academic managers, principals, CEOs, service provider, sector sponsor and others involved in ELICOS delivery.

Now in its 38th year it is the largest annual gathering for the ELICOS sector, with around 450 delegates expected to attend in 2023.
